Lender Profiles and Compare Runs

Oct 17, 2026 · Varaxon Technologies LLC d/b/a StatementReady

What this is

Lender Profiles let you save a set of calculation settings once, under your own label, and apply those same settings again to a completed file. Compare Runs places two runs of the same file side by side and lists, from the settings themselves, why the calculated figures differ.

Configured by you from your saved settings — not a lender determination. Confirm the current guideline with the lender before you rely on it.

Who can use it

  • Solo: up to 5 active profiles; single-profile re-runs and Compare Runs.
  • All other plans, including Pay-as-you-go: the built-in default only, labelled "StatementReady default settings," with no saved profiles.

Create a profile

  1. Open Lender Profiles and choose to create a new profile.
  2. Give the profile your own label. The label is yours; it is not a lender's name for the settings.
  3. Set each field: months required and averaging period, personal or business treatment, expense factor, expense floor, ownership rule, large-deposit threshold, declining-income tolerance, and NSF tolerance.
  4. Save. The saved version is the version later runs will snapshot.

Edit, deactivate, and reactivate

  • Editing a profile applies to new runs only. Earlier runs keep the settings they ran under.
  • Deactivate a profile you no longer use; it no longer counts as active and cannot be selected for a new run until reactivated.
  • Reactivate a deactivated profile to use it again for new runs.

Run and re-run a file

  1. Open a completed file.
  2. Choose a saved profile (Solo) or run under "StatementReady default settings" on any other plan.
  3. Run. Only the calculation runs again; the statements are not re-extracted.
  4. Each run records a snapshot of the profile version used, plus its run stamp, so the figure can later be traced to the exact settings that produced it.

Compare two runs

  1. Open the same completed file.
  2. Select two runs to compare.
  3. Read the side-by-side figures, then the difference breakdown underneath. Each line names the setting that differs and the amount that step added or removed. The explanations are generated deterministically from the saved settings and the rule deltas only — the same settings and the same file produce the same explanation every time.

Worked example (synthetic sample file only; these are sample numbers, not a real borrower's figures):

  • Profile A — "Profile A · 12-month (Jan–Dec), 50% expense" (broker label): calculated monthly income figure $8,208.34.
  • Profile B — "Profile B · 6-month recent (Jul–Dec), 65% expense" (broker label): calculated monthly income figure $4,830.00.
  • Difference: $3,378.34 lower under Profile B, in three steps: -$808.34 from the change in averaging period, -$500.00 from the September deposit rule, and -$2,070.00 from the expense factor.

Configured by you from your saved settings — not a lender determination. Confirm the current guideline with the lender before you rely on it.

Read a flag line

A flag line is a prompt for a reviewer to look. It does not change the calculated figure, and it does not decide anything about the file. For example, on the synthetic sample file: Profile B counts 3 NSF occurrences in its own 6-month period (Jul–Dec) against a tolerance of 2, so a flag line is shown for reviewer review and the figure does not change; Profile A counts 7 NSF occurrences over its 12-month period (Jan–Dec) against a tolerance of 12, so no flag line is shown.

Exports

An exported run is labelled with the figures calculated under the selected profile, and carries that run's stamp — run ID, profile-version hash, and timestamp. The posture line above appears directly under the figure on the export, as it does on the result and compare views.

What this does not do

  • It does not provide prebuilt lender-branded profiles. Every profile is configured and labelled by you.
  • It does not state or imply what any lender will accept, and it does not predict an outcome for a file.
  • Profile settings, runs, snapshots, and trend data tied to a file are derived from that file and are deleted with that file.
