Convert bank statement PDFs to an Excel income worksheet
StatementReady is built for mortgage loan files: it turns a borrower's bank statement PDFs into an Excel income worksheet you review before the file goes to underwriting.
What you get in the Excel export
Upload the PDFs to a loan file in StatementReady, then use the Excel worksheet export. You get an .xlsx with the income summary and month rows, the letter-of-explanation list and average daily balances. CSV and PDF exports are also available.
How it works: upload, review, export
You can upload separate PDFs or one combined PDF, and StatementReady splits it into individual statements and detects the account and period for each. The limit is 20 MB per PDF.
How uploaded statements are processed, including AI reading of scanned pages, and when they're deleted is described in our Privacy Policy (Sections 4 and 6).
Digital and scanned statements
Digital PDFs are read from their text, and scanned or photographed statements saved as PDF are read from the page images. Blurry, cut-off or very low-resolution scans are harder to read, and any statement that doesn't reconcile is flagged.
Every statement checked against its printed balances
Every statement is checked to the cent: opening balance plus credits minus debits must equal the closing balance. It also checks that each closing balance matches the next opening balance and flags missing months. Statements that don't reconcile, or can't be checked, are marked Unverified, and exports carry that warning. You review flags and can edit rows.
Reconciled means the transactions add up to the printed balances. It doesn't confirm that each deposit is eligible income.
StatementReady assists your review. It doesn't make underwriting or credit decisions, and it doesn't replace your judgment or your lender's guidelines.
Built for a mortgage worksheet
The worksheet is organized around the 12 or 24 months of statements on a loan file. StatementReady flags NSFs, overdrafts and, on purchase files, large deposits, and you review each flag and can edit rows before you export.
See a SAMPLE worksheet
See what the export looks like before you sign up: the sample worksheet uses made-up data, and every download is marked SAMPLE.
Which banks
NFCU checked on real files; other US banks and credit unions are accepted, checked to the cent, and marked Unverified if a statement doesn't reconcile or can't be checked. Navy Federal is a trademark of its owner; StatementReady isn't affiliated with or endorsed by it.
